JESUS, MARY AND JOSEPH! BRITISH PM DAVID CAMERON LEAVES DAUGHTER BEHIND AT PUB

One of the earliest accounts of child neglect on record is the time Joseph and Mary left a 12-year-old Jesus at the Temple in Jerusalem during the Passover festival. Thinking that Jesus was with part of the entourage that went along with them, Joe and Mary traveled for a whole day  before they thought about checking on him.

Fast-forward to the present, and you'll find British Prime Minister David Cameron and First Dame, Samantha. I don't know how, but they somehow left their 8-year-old daughter Nancy at a pub they were eating at. Samantha thought Nancy was with David, and David thought Nancy was with Samantha.

If you go somewhere together as a family, how do you not know where each party is? Well, according to the NY Daily News, when everyone left, David rode with one set of aides while Samantha rode with another set. Still, what kind of parent will leave a public place without checking to see if all children were accounted for. You'd think after having two children die on you in the past, 10-day-old Jane and 6-year-old Ivan, you'd be more "on it" about your kids. Apparently not. But hey, what kind of 8-year-old just sits there and lets her Mom, Dad, 6-year-old brother and 22-month-old sister leave without her. I guess the Brits are like that.

Now that I think about it, where were the aides that are assigned to the children of the leader of a nation?

Anyway, after approximately 15 minutes, the PM and Samantha realized that they were missing one. David phoned the pub and returned to find the young lady surrounded by the wait staff wowing them with her words, just like Jesus did.

Although this incident just made headlines, it actually happened "a couple of months ago" according to one of the staff members at the pub.

To the citizens of the U.K.: if your P.M. will do something like forget his own child, then you probably don't stand a chance.
