WOMAN CUTS OFF 2-YEAR-OLD SON'S HEAD, FREEZES IT, COMMITS SUICIDE

I nearly lost my breakfast when I read about Chevonne Thomas, a woman from New Jersey who decapitated her son, Zahree before killing herself. Clearly, she was mentally unstable when she called 911 Wednesday morning just after midnight.

First, she sounded like she had some sense as told the male operator that her baby had been stabbed by her boyfriend. She then retracted her statement, saying that she did it. After that, she started repeating things and mumbling to herself. She again told the operator that her boyfriend stabbed the child, but again, she said that she did it. After a while, a female operator got on the line and asked her age and if she took medication. Thomas admitted to taking Prozac, and that she should have taken it earlier.

Take a moment out of your busy schedule, and listen to this confusing 911 call...

When police and EMTs arrived on the scene, they entered the house through a second-story window. I'm not sure why they didn't break the front door down, but I'm sure they had a reason. Once inside, they found Thomas' lifeless body, where it appeared that she had stabbed herself in the neck. On the first floor, police found a headless Zahree, his head inside the freezer.

It's worth noting that two years ago, newborn Zahree was taken away from Thomas by the Department of Children and Families for child endangerment when she left him in a car unattended. At the time Thomas confessed to smoking a marijuana joint laced with PCP, and blacking out in a park.

While her child was in the custody of relatives, Thomas received court-ordered mental and substance abuse treatment. Then in October '11, the charges were dropped due to a problem with the witness. Lack of evidence that she left her baby in a car unattended. The thing that she was arrested for.

Thomas was able to regain custody of the 2-year-old this past April. And due to this major development, she endangered Zahree until he couldn't be endangered anymore. Because she killed him. In the worst possible way.
