17-year-old Samia Jones appeared in court
after stabbing her baby daddy's baby mama in broad
daylight. Are you with me so far?
The unnamed 21-year-old stabee was lured into meeting her baby daddy, 17-year-old Daquan Sparks near a train station in Savin Hill, Massachusetts. He told her that he was going to give her some shoes for their 8-month-old baby.
So when the unnamed 21-year-old baby mama approached the meeting spot with the eight-month-old
baby in a stroller, Sparks and his other baby mama, Jones jumped out on her. Sparks held her down
while Jones stabbed her six times in the face, leg, back and torso with a 12-inch
butcher knife. The baby was not hurt.
The 21-year-old managed to get to a nearby ice
cream shop for help. She was then rushed to Boston Medical Center where she
underwent emergency surgery.
Jones appeared in Dorchester District Court last week and was held on $50,000 cash bond after pleading not guilty. She
is charged with armed assault with intent to murder and assault and
battery with a dangerous weapon. If she is released, she will wear a GPS bracelet and prohibited to go near her victim.
Sparks will also face charges if the police ever catch up with him.
No one knows the motive for the attack, but I can scrounge up a few in my head. Actually, I want to know why a 21-year-old woman having a child with a 17-year-old boy anyway? And why is that not being questioned? Isn't that a crime? Just asking.
